Deal: Wenger Vieli advised Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank on obtaining a licence as fund manage-ment company for its subsidiary
BLKB Services, a newly established subsidiary of Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank, has obtained a license as a regulated fund management company from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA in January 2024. The company is expecting to start offering strategic real estate advisory services by the end of the first quarter of 2024. Moreover, it is preparing the launch of a sustainable BLKB-real estate fund.
Wenger Vieli provided legal advice to BLKB Services on all regulatory aspects in connection with the FINMA licensing procedure as a fund management company and assisted Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank in connection with the establishment of its subsidiary in the areas of corporate, real estate and employment law.
