Deal: Wenger Vieli advised CarbonPool on its USD 12m Seed Financing Round

Wenger Vieli acted as legal advisor to CarbonPool in its USD 12m Seed financing round. The investment led by Heartcore Capital, Vorwerk Ventures, HCS Capital as well as Revent also included several prominent angel investors, among others Axel Theis and Christof Mascher.

CarbonPool establishes an innovative insurance company that provides in-kind insurance for carbon credits to compensate for carbon removal shortfalls caused by any sudden and unexpected events, such as natural disasters or other business interruptions. With this novel approach, CarbonPool provides for the necessary confidence in an area characterized by uncertainty, ultimately strengthening carbon removal efforts.

With the raised funds, CarbonPool can further grow and significantly support the global net zero commitments.
