Deal: Wenger Vieli advised Kontron AG on the sale of significant parts of Kontron's IT Services business

Wenger Vieli acted as Swiss legal counsel to Kontron AG (formerly S&T AG), a stock exchange listed growing IoT (internet of things) technology group, on the sale of significant parts of the IT services business of Kontron Group to VINCI Energies S.A for a purchase price of approx. EUR 400 million.

The transaction was led by an international and cross-disciplinary team from Schoenherr Attorneys at Law alongside Pinsent Masons in Germany and the Wenger Vieli team in Switzerland.

Kontron AG counts approximately 6'000 employees and subsidiaries in 32 countries around the world. With the divestment of significant parts of Kontron Group’s IT services business, Kontron is following its growth strategy to becoming a pure IoT player and using its liquidity for further acquisitions.
