Deal: Wenger Vieli advised Oaks on its EUR 2.5 Mio pre-seed round

Wenger Vieli advised Oaks, an embedded fintech startup founded by Marcel Brod and Thorsten Kud, on all Swiss legal matters. The round was led by Atlanics Labs with participation of a set of tier 1 international angels. The funding will allow Oaks to further develop its platform and successfully complete its go-to-market with partners from several online and offline merchant categories in Europe.

Oaks encourages its users to save money with cash rewards from certain brands. The saved amount can be spent on products from Oaks' member brands.

The team was led by Michael Baier (Venture Capital / M&A) and included Michelle Wiki (Associate, Venture Capital/M&A) and Zeynep Kologlu (Junior Lawyer, Venture Capital / M&A).
