Deal: Wenger Vieli advised PostFinance on the sale of its 50% stake in Yuh to Swissquote
Wenger Vieli advised PostFinance on all Swiss legal and tax aspects of the transfer of its 50% stake in the fintech app Yuh to Swissquote. Upon closing, Swissquote now owns 100% of Yuh, which is valued at CHF 180 million. Yuh is a Swiss fintech app launched in 2021 as a joint venture between PostFinance and Swissquote. It integrates mobile banking, payments, savings and trading into a single intuitive platform.
The team was led by Marc Walter (Partner, Corporate / M&A) and Michael Baier (Partner, Corporate / M&A) and included Clara Bodemann (Partner, Tax / VAT), Patric Eggler (Partner, Tax), Jonas Bühlmann (Counsel, Tax), Martin Peyer (Partner, Regulatory), Michelle Wiki (Senior Associate, Corporate / M&A), and Marc Schumacher (Junior Lawyer).
