Deal: Wenger Vieli Advised redalpine on its Investment in dropz
Wenger Vieli provided legal advice to redalpine, a leading venture capital firm, on its investment in dropz. This investment significantly contributes to dropz's ability to innovatively expand its product portfolio and strengthen its market position. The round was led by Redalpine Venture Partners and included contributions from other investors such as Oyster Bay Management, BackBone Ventures, and entrepreneur Roland Brack.
dropz, a Swiss startup founded in 2020, produces small tablets ('drops') from pressed fruits and herbs that transform ordinary water into a flavorful beverage. The company is focused on encouraging the consumption of primarily local tap water to minimize the environmental impact associated with bottled beverages and their logistics.
The team was led by Michael Baier (Partner, Corporate / M&A) and included Claudia Keller (Partner, Data Protection), Sabine Taxer (Senior Associate, Employment), Michelle Wiki (Associate, Corporate / M&A) and Kianoush Sadeghi (Associate, Corporate / M&A).
