Deal: Wenger Vieli advised Swiss Wood Solutions on closing of its latest financing round

Wenger Vieli advised Swiss Wood Solutions, a business and technology incubator for sustainable, wood-based products, on all Swiss legal matters in its latest financing round.

DG Nexolution acquires shares in Swiss Wood Solutions in a strategic investment. The two companies will form a joint venture to manage the global production and marketing of a sustainable, plastic-free wooden card for the payment and non-payment sector.

Swiss Wood Solutions is a Swiss start-up, which refines solid wood and wood veneers to replace endangered tropical woods, petroleum-based lacquers, coatings, plastics, and functional products for everyday use by sustainable wood products.

The team included Michael Baier (Partner, Venture Capital / M&A), Dominique Mattmann (Associate, Venture Capital / M&A) and Bianca Schweikart (Junior Lawyer) from the Wenger Vieli Start-up Desk.
