Deal: Wenger Vieli advised Unigestion on the sale of its stake in the Dovida Group to Ardian
Wenger Vieli advised Philipp Scheier and his private equity team at Unigestion on all Swiss legal and tax matters in connection with the sale of their stake in the Dovida Group (formerly Home Instead) to Ardian. The transaction also included the sale of shares held by the company’s founder and CEO, Paul Fritz, as well as Swiss family office Verium. Dovida, founded in Switzerland as Home Instead in 2007, is a leading provider of non-medical home care services across Europe and Australasia. Unigestion invested in Dovida in November 2021.
The team was led by Pascal Honold (Partner, Corporate/M&A) and Marc Walter (Partner, Corporate/M&A) and included Cedric Fischer (Associate, Corporate/M&A), Elisha Odenheimer (Associate, Corporate/M&A), Andreas Hünerwadel (Partner, Financial Services), Ottavio Muff (Associate, Financial Services), Claudia Keller (Partner, IP/Data Protection), Matthias Langenegger (Associate, IP/Data Protection), Nathalie Germann (Senior Associate, Employment), Dominique Roos (Senior Associate, Life Science), Ines Holderegger (Associate, Life Science), Patric Eggler (Partner, Tax), Jill Blattmann (Senior Associate, Tax), Amanda Heinz (Senior Associate, Tax), and Marc Schumacher (Junior Lawyer).
